2. The space quest “Poleteli Yeli” in Yeltsin Center
Children can create a spaceship and even discover a space fuel formula. It is a kind of quest: young cosmonauts will pass some tests on special equipped sites.
There will be also the Christmas tree, songs and circle-dancing. All participants are waited by gifts and presents.
Performances take place 4 times a day from December, 25 till January, 8.
Tickets cost 1200 rubles for children and 300 rubles for adults.
The performances for children over the age of 1,5 will be also held, they are called “The first New Year”.
3. The Ice Town on the Square of 1905
This year the Ice Town is dedicated to the 140th Pavel Bazhov’s anniversary. The main new thing is 8 alive Christmas trees instead of the artificial one.
The Ice Town will work from December, 28 till January, 20.
Monday–Friday 4 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Weekends 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
The Opening will be on December, 28 at 5 p.m..
The rides and carousels cost from 30 to 150 rubles.

The new Ekaterinburg Aquarium proposes to spend winter holidays with some water animals.
Special New Year program participants of which are dolphins, white whale, fur seals, aerial gymnasts and dancers.

6. Ski resort “Uktus”
Some of the most favourite winter entertainments for Urals always are mountain skiing, snowboarding and tubing.
1 ride on ski lift for beginners will cost 50 rubles, 1 ride on ski lift for amateurs will cost 60 or 70 rubles.
The equipment rent costs 500 rubles per day maximum.
7. Waterpark “Limpopo”
Who doesn’t dream about warm summer when it is cold winter? You may come to the waterpark and feel yourself like on the beach. Plenty of rides for children and adults, slow river, hot tubs, swimming pools, sauna and much more are waiting for you there. There are amusements for everyone.
Tickets: 1450 rubles for adults, 1100 rubles for children (1m – 1, 46m tall), 170 rubles for children (lower than 1 meter).
8. Mayakovsky Central Park
The Ded Moroz’s Manor will be opened until the end of winter holidays.
The visiting program consists of entertaining activities, excursions, meeting with Ded Moroz and Snegurochka, master class on New Year’s toys creation.
Tickets: 120- 250rubles.
Working hours: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
On January, 5 everyone will be able to participate on Sleighs Parade.
It is a winter version of Baby carriage Parade: parents with children will show the most unusual decorations of sleigh and children’s costumes.
City zoo will work during winter holidays (January, 1–8) from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
There are some cages indoors so you may visit it even when it is frost outside.
While you visit the zoo you may also take part in master class on New Year’s postcards making.

10. Classical ballet “Nutcracker”
This Chaykovskiy’s work is the way of making holiday mood. You will be able to enjoy this performance in the Opera and Ballet Theatre (46a, Lenina Av.)
