Denis Galushko Trio
On 27, January on stage of “Ural” Culture Centre the greatest hits of the legendary Beatles will be performed by Denis Galushko trio. Sophisticated instrumental versions and delicate jazz variations of the Liverpool quartet such as Come Together, Yesterday, Hey Jude, Let It Be, Strawberry Fields Forever and others will be divided in two sessions and performed by author interpretation of Denis Galushko trio.
In 2009 a famous Ekaterinburg EverJazz club was opened and at the same time a young musician from Kurgan Denis Galushko founded the band where he now performs his compositions together with Evgeniy Bezborodov (contrabass) and Artyom Ivanov (drums). “Denis Galushko trio” is a prize winner of diverse jazz festivals and competitions. They became “Usadba jazz” young performers grand-prix winners (Moscow, 2013). The trio also specializes in modern jazz with classical motives, as well as in diverse stylistic directions: jazz funk, Europe jazz, mainstream, lounge and others.
The Beatles influenced greatly the whole rock music and is recognized as one of the most successful groups of the 20 century, both artistically and commercially-wise. Many famous rock musicians coincide in the opinion that the Beatles songs influenced their creative work most of others. Since the single «Please Please Me / Ask Me Why» was released in 1963 the band began rising up to its success giving birth to the phenomenon – the Beatlemania. Their fan clubs still exist in a lot of countries and cities, Ekaterinburg one is still pretty famous. There’s a monument dedicated to Beatles on 8, Gorkogo Street.
