May holidays are not only long holidays when everyone can take a break from work and every-day routine, but also the whole bunch of entertainment events for the whole family.
On April 29, a mobile football park will be opened at the historic square. This object will visit all the cities - organizers of the World Cup 2018, and helps the citizens to feel the atmosphere of the event. The park will be opened for 2 days: 29-30, April12:00- 20:00 . All park visitors will be able to participate in thematic master classes, take pictures with the symbol "Zabivakoy" and also talk to the world football stars.
One of the main inagurators of the park will be the French actor Sami Naseri famous for his mane character in the Luc Besson's movie "Taxi".
The last Sunday of the month will be filled with the fresh air dances (really fresh, as the venue is Mayakovsky Central Park). The favorite city park is planning the International dance day celebration.
From 13:00 to 18:00 visitors will be able to participate in various dance events and to energize themselves in Zumba rhythm out of doors. Those who don’t feel like dancing, can enjoy fascinating entertaining program, broadcasting of thematic programs on the park’s central screen as well as to see a concert on the main stage. A special program is planned for the little dance amateurs on the children’s dance area “Kruche vseh”.

In Ekaterinburg the issue of separate waste recycling was raised more than once and everybody understands that this action is crucial but unfortunately pretty slow. An information point will be organized where citizens will be told about importance of separate waste collection. Also organizers promise curious activities aimed at people’s engagement in separate waste collection, reduction of the amount of waste as well as life prolongation of our personal belongings. Here will be opened recyclable materials drop-off stations (paper, glass, metal, plastic), book and clothes exchange, creative master-classes, treasure hunting quests and other events dedicated to the intelligent waste treatment.

For all those who think that has already tried all kinds of handicrafts, “Gamayun” Folk Art Museum Centre (20/5, Gogolya Street) invites to visit its masterclass “Carpenter’s toy of the Russian North” on 29, April and on 6, 13, May from 12:00. Come and try to make a wooden toy with your own hands!
The organizers will tell you history and technology of carpenter’s toy production, will explain principles of work with traditional instruments and ways of wood finishing treatments. All the master-class participants will make several kinds of toys.

For those who prefer more modern and non-formal self-expression format, the youth center “B-6” (6a, Betonshchikov Street) is organizing youth art festival “Neformat”.
The distinctive trait of the modern youth art is usage of new and sometimes even radical technics and engagements. It is a real no-how art process which unifies several hundred people. The festival program includes a big range of the youth art genres: beatbox, rap/rock-cover, art-rock, anime, hip-hop, theatre, acrobatics, pop vocal, light show, illusion show and other directions which attract people from all over the world.

During the time of the track-and-field run "May Thunderstorm" traffic will be blocked along the 8 Marta Street (from Lenin Avenue to Boris Yeltsin Street), and along the Boris Yeltsin Street (from 8 Marta to Chelyuskintsev Street).
